My brother, nephew and I held our second annual Memorial Day Fly Fishing Tournament (first, biggest, most and best attitude) on a float trip on the Grey Reef section of the N. Platte River with the Crazy Rainbow Fly Fishing outfitters. We were very fortunate to float with our all-time favorite guide Rob Barnosky. Rob deserves a medal for his patience as we are total novices. Weather was spectacular and fishing was excellent. We all caught lots of beautiful rainbows. Rob is fantastic and extremely knowledgeable guide and he assisted us with our casting and landing each fish. He offered lots of pointers and showed us how to tie the flies along with what was hatching and the corresponding flies. We still want the scoop on Soup Can! Aside from the unbelievable fishing, it was a beautiful and scenic float trip with abundant wildlife that included deer, antelope, muskrats, snakes and a variety of waterfowl. Laurie at the Crazy Rainbow prepared huge chef’s salad for lunch which totally hit the spot and she also packed a special lunch for my nephew. We are anxious to plan our next trip with the Crazy Rainbow and look forward to more great memories, magnificent rainbows and hopefully a few browns! After an amazing float trip with the Crazy Rainbow Fly Fishing outfitters we also made a trip to the Ugly Bug Fly Shop in Casper. The Ugly Bug Fly Shop is loaded with fly gear for men and women, rods, reels, an amazing selection of flies and flying equipment, super friendly staff (aka Alec) and a killer sale rack. It is definitely worth a trip if you are in Casper. A shout out to Alec who took the time to help my nephew who is new to fly fishing. He talked to him about where he planned to fish and selected the appropriate flies for him. They also had a nice selection of women's apparel.

I bought some gloves online from you guys. They are the patagonia neoprene ones that look like coozies. I had a pair for a couple years that I love and then last fall my sling was stolen out of my car. I lost almost all of my stuff. Luckily no rods reels or my net but everything else. You guys were the only shop that still had those gloves in stock. I bought 2 pairs. They arrived promptly and I've loved having these gloves again. Thanks for making the experience of starting over easier.
