This family run beautiful property located about 7 minutes from the town of Cassino where you can find lots of amenities for shopping,food,gas ect. ( Oh and a McDonalds if your on a budget ) It is very quiet and somewhat secluded and in the evening you can sit outside and see the famous Abby Monte Cassino all lit up. The rooms are nice and have a stove, fridge washer and dryer in case your planning on staying for a bit. It takes about 20 minutes to drive up to the Abby which has an amazing story behind it best to watch some YouTube documentaries about its role in WW2 to get a full experience from it. On your way out be sure to stop at the Polish war Memorial and Cemetery. Safe Travels

Il Pioppeto is a beautiful family-run place close to the downtown area of Cassino. Our apartment was very cute and comfortable, decorated in an Alpine style. The bedroom and bath were located up a spiral stairway from the sitting room/kitchen. The restaurant on-site was closed for the season, but we were directed by the proprietor to a lovely restaurant in town. Breakfast was delicious and fortifying, in a lovely breakfast room in the main building. There is also a small bar where we ordered an early evening drink. We wish we'd had more time to spend at Il Pioppeto; we would have liked to sit outside and enjoy the view, but it rained while we were there.
Great spot to relax in and very pleasant facilities and spot. Nice staff, good food and walking distance to town if you don't mind 20 minute stroll. Good bathrooms.
Just clean and perfect for night rest, rich breakfast
We attended a family wedding in Cassino and had a beautiful relaxing stay at Agriturismo Il Piopetto. The rooms were spacious and clean. The location was in the country side but close enough to Cassino and family in the surrounding area. It was an easy trek to the Abbey of Monte Cassino. Great resturants in the area such as Da Diego for great pizza & La Colombaia for great seafood. We will definitely return to Agriturismo Il Pioppeto whenever we are in Cassino. Nice place. It deserves 5 stars even if we stayed one night only. Room comfortable and clean. The manager is a kind person. Relaxing place with romantic sight on the countryside .
We enjoyed our one night here, very peaceful and comfortable. We booked two rooms, one of which could not receive internet, but both rooms clean & cosy. Host gave us a great restaurant recommendation in town.
