Medical Breakthrough Support

Worst experience of my life. I cashed a check and the clerk advised me my funds will be available 06/11/20. I got the receipt and left the bank. Next day my account went negative for the whole amount of the check. All of a sudden without telling me or calling me they decided to extend the release date of the funds to 06/18/20. The check came from a multi million dollar company and it was for 720.00. For sure there was money on the account and it was not a fraudulent check. I went a week without money to be able to feed my kids. Worst banking experience of my life. I could have 8 people at the company verify the check. They could verify the funds but its not a pat of Bank of Americas procedures to help customers. They had to wait 3 to 5 business days for the clearing house to verify the check when they could make two phone calls and verify funds so i can get my money.

Why does the manager feel the need to push me out of the bank to the atm? I’ve always loved this branch . I only go inside 3,4 times a year but each time the female manager with European accent has held me at bay trying to make me use the atm! What the heck? That’s not good customer service! When I want to use the atm I do. I feel safer inside for some transactions. Everyone else is wonderful just hoping some improvement will be made.
