We visited this restaurant for a meal on a Sunday evening evening at about 7:45pm We asked if we could eat. The answer we got was we don’t open until now. We had a very good meal made especial when they found out that it was my birthday. I can only recommend this restaurant for a friendly welcome, great ambiance, great food and service without being obtrusive. Thank you for making my Birthday meal so special.

Visited here with my Grandparents on my Grandfather's birthday. The staff are extremely friendly and so is the chef!! The food is incredible!!! I had chicken and it's never been so tasty and tender!! I really recommend Origen to anyone who visits Castellar and definitely leave a tip!!!

I did a quick google search of local tapas restaurants and “Origen” popped up. I am definitely not disappointed. The food is amazing. A really good selection of food on menu and you can tell the produce used is both fresh and of a good quality. The gaspacho, goats cheese salad and prawns are to die for. The chef also just came out to talk to us to check we were happy - a really friendly atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Very good tapas bar and restaurant. Clean cut modern feel without betraying it's Spanish roots. Excellent food. Some traditional, some eclectic dishes. Including some vegan friendly! Recommended.
