Beautiful place to stay and relax. Real castle with a beautiful view on the Hudson River. Nice size rooms. Outdoor pool, garden chess set, bocce ball.

Castle Hotel and Spa is great. Our room was huge. Wonderful amenities. The area is gorgeous. I was very sad that we were there for only one night and the weather was rainy the second day, hence we didn't get a chance to enjoy the grounds of the castle to the fullest. Also, the restaurant and the spa are still closed due to covid-19. the bar was open. And the outdoor area is huge, clean, and beautiful. We will definitely come back here again.
Surprised my fiancé with this weekend getaway for his birthday. Even arriving in the night he was awed at the site of the castle. Upon our arrival, the staff was very pleasant. The Jr. Suite was amazing. There was a complimentary basket of wine and snacks waiting for us in our suite. In our home we sleep on a sleep number bed. Most times when we go away, we can't wait to get back to our bed. This weekend was different, the bed was very comfortable. We weren't in rush to get up. The next morning we were able to see the full beauty of the castle. Due to COVID, services were limited. We went out to pick up breakfas at a local diner. When we returned, there was a basket of fresh towels, toiletries and water sitting outside of our door. The spa remains closed, staff isn't sure if it will reopen. When asked, the staff recommended a spa that was about 20 or so minutes away. The restaurant is still closed. We went and had nice steak dinner in town. The bar was open but we only went to get ice, the staff did not hesitate to fill up our ice bucket. After check-in we were greeted by name at each exit and entry. Again, the staff was very pleasant. I think we found a new getaway.
Spent birthday weekend here and the staff did a wonderful job making it special, even with Covid precautions in place. Ken gave us a wonderful tour and history of the hotel. Will definitely be coming back!
The facility was clean and quiet. It's a great getaway from the daily hustle and bustle. Hopefully once this pandemic clears up, we will be able to enjoy the spa and on-site restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family.
We decided to come up for the night from the city to break a little cabin fever. What we found was an excellent escape to recharge. The hotel host Ceaser was absolutely fantastic and made out stay. He told us the history of the castle and it made our weekend stay feel more like and adventure. I just loved it.
My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights to have a getaway from NYC and to celebrate our anniversary my birthday. We had such a wonderful experience, the property is beautiful and peaceful, the room was super clean and comfy and the staff is so kind, they did such an incredible job to make our stay convenient. Whenever we had a request they got the job done immediately. We will definitely be back!
Shannon was such a big help in organizing our wedding there this past September. She went above and beyond and truly made the experience enjoyable and memorable. My husband and I are so thankful for her help, as well as Cesar, and everyone on the staff we had a chance to encounter. Everyone was very professional & that made such an important difference on our big day!
