All around great place to stay if you’re in Castlegar!! I’ve been staying here now every second week for the past year-ish. All the staff are wonderful and very helpful when needed. Special shout out to Gintash and Saudia as they are always super nice and very helpful. I apologize to the rest of the staff as I don’t know your names but you’re all great. Rooms are nice and clean! Beds are comfy and they don’t cheap out on the pillows like some places do! Can’t go wrong with the breakfast either. I highly recommend this place and will continue to stay here for many more years to come! To the people complaining about the smallest most petty things in other reviews... if you’re that picky stay home!!!! Or go spend 300 a night at a “fancy” place.
This is a great place to stay. The staff is courteous and excellent especially the hotel manager Gitansh is very helpful. The location is perfect and I loved the place very much.
We were so pleasantly surprised by Surestay. Good staff checked us in with clear directions. Our room was large with a microwave, sink and fridge. The need was comfortable with good bedding and pillows. It was right on the highway but very quiet. The air conditioning worked very well. Breakfast was adequate but we would really have appreciated a low carb option other than cold hard boiled eggs. All in all, they offer good value and we would stay at Surestay again.
Room was nice, cleaning for bathrooms could have been better. When we arrived in our room the tile for the bathroom floor appeared it hasn't had a deep clean/scrub in a while. Other than that nice stay and friendly staff.
From the moment we walked into the lobby and the rooms we were instantly impressed with the cleanliness, functionality and design of the rooms :). Having a hot plate with pots and pans were a great touch! We loved the location and will definitely be happy to return here for a stay!
