Wonderful day with my grandchildren. Watching them cycling in the cycle tracks and a lovely walk around the lake.

Brilliant amenity, well worth a visit. There is a good range of activities so it suits a family day out. Beautiful walks, watersports biking and camping.

Love the bike trails here . I feel like it caters for everyone. For someone who just starts getting into biking as well as for those who want to do more technical trails. The trails are well maintained as well. Always a great day

Awesome Trails. Well suited for the intermediate/advanced trail-rider. The 19km red rewards those willing to make the climb up slievenaslat with some sublime fast/ flowy sections of gravel single-track with Jumps. The black options are great but seem more like red with longer rock gardens and bigger jumps. A good challenge to ride fast though! Full-sus is probably overkill, great fun on an Aggressive/overforked Hardtail. I would recommended for intermediates/those with good bike handling skills. There are a couple of beginner trails, however I think Barnett's Demesne is better suited to Beginners.

This is a lovely place with a lot of things waiting to be explored. But in order to enjoy all of them, it would be better to stay and spend at least three days if you are with children. I spends two days and it seems not enough. The admission fee for normal car parking inside is 5 GBP and there is also a camping area besides the parking for motor home stay overnight that is a little expensive. First of all, it has a maze garden which is very fun with children. It took us a hour to find the way out finally. A walled garden is near the conference centre which took us almost one hour. The bicycle trails are go through the hills with multiple routes choice around the lake. You can either bring your own bicycles or hire it at the entrance. The children love this place and we also love it. A picnic is a must. Besides, there is a small caffe near the entrance. The firewood heating feels very warm but the food is just OK.
