We just returned from a fly in moose hunt with Wesley's and had a great experience. The tent camp that we hunted out of was well laid out, located in a great place and was equipped with most of what you would need to allow you to get in nice and light. Charles and Matt were very professional and great to deal with, and were very exact on what to expect on arrival in the camp. From the little I knew of Charles and his operation prior to booking, I learned quite a bit about him from other local operations and residents in Pickle Lake, and everyone had nothing but good things to say about the man. He is a hard working honest guy who has lived locally to his operations for his life, you should feel confident in booking with, and getting great value in what you pay for. He has a lot of valuable information that he is very willing to share with those who book with him, to ensure that you get the best possible experience at his camps. I look forward to booking with them again truly a great experience if you like the idea of getting away to hunt or fish.

We spent a week at Wesley's outpost at the end of July and it exceeded our expectations on every level. Our party consisted of a couple of veteran fly-in fishermen (Grandpa and Uncle) and a bunch of newbies (Grandma, mom, and 2 grandsons). Everything went extremely smoothly from the plane ride to the cabin to the fishing! We landed 346 fish! Flying in with Pickle Lake Air was great. They loaded our gear quickly and let our 13 year old experience his first sea plane ride from up in the cockpit. Once at the outpost, we found the cabin extremely clean and well stocked with everything you could need to stay more than comfortable during a week of amazing fishing. The water was hot, the kitchen had tons of cooking utensils, and the beds kept everyone sleeping comfortably after long days on the lake. We were fishing within an hour of landing on the lake and Grandma had reeled in the first walleye after only 10 minutes of being on the water. Having never been to Wesley's before, we weren't sure what kind of luck we'd have finding the fish but the extensive book of maps and marked hot spots made this worry not necessary. We were reeling them in consistently throughout our trip. The trip was full of amazing times! The 9 year old caught the most large pike, 31", 2 X 29" and a 28" and enjoyed gloating throughout the week! The 13 year old and Grandma reeled in the largest walleye with 26 1/2 and 25 inchers respectfully! We consistently hooked walleye in the 15- 20" range which put up a fun fight and keep everyone having fun . The high light came on the last night when a 39" pike was reeled in and we all got to see a monster up close a personal. Overall, the trip was amazing and we have only the highest of praise for Wesley's Outpost! We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an amazing fishing experience in a comfortable cabin on a beautiful lake. It was a trip of a life time that none of us will forget!

Went up for a moose hunt. Filled our bull tag on day three. Accommodations were great - hot shower, freezers, electricity via generator. We fished when we weren't hunting and caught walleye nonstop. No real big fish though, most between 15-20 inches. Was a great experience!

We flew into Kech Lake and stayed in the cabin there while we hunted moose and fished. It was an amazing trip and I can't wait to go back. Our guide Charles was on top of everything. He called in a 44" bull on our first full day. Since this was our first ever moose hunt he also spent time with us working on improving our own calling and tracking abilities. The rest of the week we fished walleye and messed around practicing calling moose into camp. There were definitely a lot of moose in the area. Seems like they love those ridges in Kech. Also the fishing was the fastest action fishing I've ever experienced. It was crazy. Fish on at almost every cast. We got a really nice size pike as well. I was amazed at how nice the cabin was.
