Interesting spot to pass some time observing the harbour. Additionally location offers pleasant panorama of the city with looming volcano in the background.

There is nothing to see here, as far as I can tell, except for the view. Best view you will get if the Mediterranean. I saw people driving up and down but unless your from here I wouldn't advise it. It's about a 30 minute walk if I recall correctly, and it's not well marked how to get there. You have to walk through the port to find a way on the thing. You can go up a ramp near the back where the cars drive or find the stairs where it just out into the water. I don't know if you can go to the end but I went most of the way. There is a gate with a sign but people seemed to be going anyway. You don't need to go to the end though because the main stretch is parallel to the shore. I did like the view and it was worth the walk. Four stars because that's all there is and it's not clear how to get there.
Lots to do that doesn't even have anything to do with boats. Bars, cafes and an art exhibition will keep you busy and dry. Live music venues give you plenty of options here.

È un posto magico, fuori dal caos cittadino pur essendo nel cuore della città. Si gode un panorama di Catania e dell'Etna impareggiabile
