Beautiful Area and great place to stop for some pictures and Island History. We got there late so they were "closed" but they still let us in and one of the kids from the little desk walked around with us explaining everything and taking pictures for us. He was really great, and so was the time at the ruins. There is some really amazing nature along with the historic ruins and all together it made for a great little stop!

Nice place for a side trip before going to the Sunken Cemetery since this is just along the highway in Catarman. It is a nice place to get in touch with nature while being reminded of just how powerful is nature’s fury. The century old tree is so amazing you shouldn’t miss to take a picture. If you’re a solo traveller, taking is a selfie is not your only option since there are kids who will be offering to take your picture for a small fee.
Although not preserved well, the ruins is still a great place to have a grasp of the past, especially during the Spanish era and Catholicism. We were greeted by children offering their help to take our pictures and telling history of the place. They are very good at it as if they're tour guides. The place is clean, it has comfort rooms. It has a beautiful view of the ocean.
Beautiful and quiet place to be if you want some rest from the beaches and feel the garden-like atmosphere.
You need to pay 10 pesos for environmental fee. I love this place because it's rich in history and it's enchanting. It gives peace and the energy you get from this place is rejuvenating. Tip: visit the place past 5pm so you don't have to pay for the entrance fee. The person who collects it leaves around this time.
For a P30 entrance fee, you will be transported in time back to the historic Gui-ob Church ruins. Used to be a town church, this structure was destructed by the volcanic erruption many years ago. With it’s remains now a tourist attraction of Camiguin Island. You will witness the strong walls that still stand the test of time. Century old trees that you couldn’t even hug! This is a place you should visit!
Just a ruin but the convent ground is good for picnic. Overlooking the sea ine can have a nice sunset view. The trees around the church forms a roof ( which is nice)
It's like you went to the past seeing how the rocks and colars made into a wall.
