Wonderful LGBTQI bookshop and community space. In addition to books, they offer zines, badges, cushions, etc. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and happy to answer any questions - I've got a couple of things for an Ace friend and they were very helpful. They're also always happy to meet well behaved dogs.

What a fabulous business this is! Wanted to order a book for a dear, queer friend of mine and decided against ordering from Amazon (boo!) and opted for Category Is instead - and I definitely don’t regret it! The whole process was as easy as possible, the payment process was the smoothest I’ve seen from an independent business and all with a queer flare and friendly customer service. I’d urge everyone to order your books from here and support them.

I emailed to see if they had a particular book, I sent screenshots of the book and all the codes from Amazon, and they got back to me to let me know how much the book and the shipping would be within a couple of days. When I said yes to paying I followed their online payment service and the book arrived within a week in perfect condition. Really happy with the service and definitely coming back to this establishment in future rather than using Amazon. Please support this place and local book stores in general

They have a kiosk at the side of the shop. I asked for a book they ordered it in and had it ready. They know everything about books. They are awesome.
