I was amazed to see that Boston has such a great cathedral! Built in 1875, it's not widely known neither located in a key area of the city. It's even hard to find any mentions of this church in guidebooks. However, it's a truly beautiful church - one of those that can trigger a mystic experience while you stroll inside.

They have done an amazing job on the renovations, absolutely beautiful. A must see for historical value even if your heart's not into Catholicism, Farther Kevin and his team hit a home run with this Boston Treasure! I have been to Rome and seen many churches as well as the Vatican, I visited The Cathedral of Notrudam in France and the Holy Cross Cathedral all though smaller still a sight to see. Who knows it might just warm your heart a bit?

The building itself is nice; however, the recent history of its disgraced Cardinal Law prevents it from being a place of prayer. The Blessed Sacrament Chapel separate from the main Cathedral is beautiful and prayerful. Not the best in the country. Nice, but not worth a tourist visit.
