Great activity if the Normandy rains have come It's a jewel in the Norman crown (with gemstones!) Lots of interesting information Well laid out

Excellent for children. Gave an interesting presentation of the slate mine, with some hands on displays for children.

Great place to visit. Explanation was in English as well as the films that were shown. At the end of the tour just before you leave the cave there were some fantastic semi precious stones. We stayed in our motorhome on the Aire de camping car, which was free but not the services. However, it was clean and tidy. Thanks

This was better than expected. Very good English audio which follows you as you walk around the mine. You just follow the lights and sounds - very clever. The caverns where the slate had been cut out are very spectacular. Worth a visit and not too expensive. There is a restaurant there but we didn't try it.

Old slate mine that is open to the public. Tours are by audio guide and you learn about the history of the mine, with a display of various rocks, precious stones.

Audio tour in English as well as French, staff also spoke English. The tour was fun, but maybe a bit long for the 4-year-old. Was more fun for ages 6. Make sure to wear waterproof shoes and something warm. The tour was not too expensive, the souvenirs a little bit though. This was well worth the drive. Recommended for when your day is a bit gloomy.
