The campground is very nice. The spots are nice, it's in a good location that's close to Albuquerque, Cedar Crest, Madrid and Santa Fe. We have been several times and we really enjoy it. However, when you call to make reservations or need help when you get there one lady is super nice and friendly and helpful. The first time we went we dealt with her. The other lady is not nice and if we had spoken to her the first time we planned on going we never would have gone. On this trip the lady we spoke with was so rude and unhelpful that we almost canceled our trip.

This is a wonderful RV/Campground with extremely friendly staff. We felt so welcome like we were life long friends with Autumn from the first phone call to the park intro/reg. I wish all places we stayed at had someone like Autumn. It's tucked back away from the highway so not much noise can be heard but close enough that you can get back on the road in just mere minutes in the morning. I camped only one night but we really enjoyed the ample space you are given from other campers, especially for an RV/Campground mix. Other campers were all courteous and respectful. Staff and campers were also all respectful in regards to Covid, masks were worn and social distance was in play, we felt completely safe. The only small complaints I might have is that our campground had a bit of trash that we had to pick up before we settled in. And the 5 minute showers would not be enough time if we didn't have extra tokens. Maybe even just a few minutes more like 8 minutes in total would be enough. But we understand this is due to water restrictions. However for the price this is a perfect place and if we are ever in the area again, we would definitely stay without hesitation. Recommended.
Great place to stay. Tucked in the mountains and pines. Very quiet and manager was a joy as well as Wesley, her dog. Look forward to visiting again.
Because of the one office person we keep dealing with, I won't go back here. I see many reviews about how friendly the staff is - these people must have been lucky enough to get one of the other employees. We've stayed here a couple times. On different occasions I, my wife, my mother and our niece have been treated rudely trying to coordinate accomodations. More accurately, this person is condescending and super bossy. Its too bad because we've also encountered very nice, helpful staff here and the grounds & location are lovely. If you happen to get someone else on the phone, you will like this place. I'm not willing the take that risk again.
I stayed twice while passing through, very easy to book and easy to locate. One night I slept in the small cabin (no kitchen/bathroom but they added a fridge, microwave, and fan) and coming back the other direction stayed in my tent. Both nights were very quiet with considerate neighbors. The bathrooms and cabin were clean, the grounds were well maintained and seemed trash free. The cabin was an easy late check-in (called ahead to let them know) and the tent site was relaxing to arrive early afternoon and spend time reading.
If you like rustic minimal sites, this place is for you. Water hookups are 2 feet underground in a tiny box, hard to get a clean connect. Has water, sewer and electric hookups. Sites are tight to get into with a motorhome, we had to pull up to allow room for our slide in the site. Gravel (or mud) uneven flooring to our spot (and every observed spot. Due to the mud our auto levels couldn't level. Facility has a "playground" which is really 5 swings. Good guided host to tight sites. We will not be returning.
Great place! It’s a little out of the way but it gives you a great chance to enjoy cedar crest. The park is nice and the managers are very nice. Had a great time. Enjoy the ribs in town the burger and of course Paris bakery. If you enjoy walking or riding there is great trail Over behind the post office. It’s a definite must stay.
Such a great campground just outside of ABQ! We arrived and were quickly greeted by a friendly staff member who oriented us to the campground and made sure we found our spot with no issue. We had a quiet camp spot near the back and had no issue with the electricity or water hookup. We had a nice tree for shade but the weather was so beautiful we didn’t need the shade. The bathrooms and showers were a short walk away. The bathhouse was super clean and fairly spacious. A shower is always so refreshing after a long day in the car and so we were very thankful for the bathrooms and showers here. There is also an area to wash dishes which is always nice. We would definitely recommend Turquoise Trail if in the area!
