Not the best Nonya food in town, there are definitely far better ones elsewhere. Very slow serving time when the restaurant is packed. Signature Asam Fish is a disappointment.

Love this place. One of my favourite Nyonya restaurants in Penang. Will come back to try out more dishes Only thing is waiting time is quite long

Simply Delicious! Had an amazing lunch at Ceki Nonya Restaurant, located just a short distance from the E&O Hotel where we stayed. We ordered 5 dishes and all were super delicious and authentic. The food came hot and the service was friendly, prompt and attentive. Loved the décor of the restaurant. The Tau Yu Bak (Braised Pork) was one of the best I've had. It was well cooked, tender and sinfully delicious. The Jiew Hu Char (a Penang specialty) was very tasty especially with the sambal chili. And the star was the Pomfret Assam Pedas. The freshness of the delicate fish was not over-powered by the Assam Pedas. The delicate balance of the Assam Pedas gravy was so good I simply drank it like a soup. The Ayam Buah Keluak (Chicken) was full of flavor as well. And lastly, the Sweet Potato leaves cooked with sweet potatoes in a lemak (coconut) gravy was the first time I've tasted this dish and I love it! The desserts were great too, especially the Bubur Terigu. It was awesome! If you are looking for authentic Penang Nonya (Peranakan) food, I highly recommend CEKI. I've tried several other Nonya Peranakan restaurants in Penang and I must say CEKI is among the best. Prices were very reasonable. Go! You will not be disappointed.

Drove to Penang from Kuala Lumpur and although reviews for other nearby Nonya Restaurants were higher, this restaurant surprised me. I had the Jui Hu, Otak, Ikan Perut, Beef Rendang and the star of the show, Buah Keluak with chicken. It must have been braised for hours, as both chicken and buah had intense flavor. Easily the best buah keluak I’ve had which allowed me to understand this dish much better. Rating for this restaurant is too low...

overall ok as for Penang Nyonya food. curry tumis deserves 4.5 stars, but abit pricey. sambal dish ok, but lack of some ohm of authentic feel. friend popiah and otak not so bad. perut ikan the sourish taste seems bitter , which affect the taste of perut ikan.

The experience is quite bad here, we got a table when we reach there however we waited for 30-40 mins to be served to take order in-spite repeated reminder to waiters. After the order, we waited another half an hour and when check with waiter they are not sure when they can served us. At this point there is only 1 table left eating which came in later than us. The owner/waiter don’t even care to explain to us their problem. This is the worst service restaurant I had been. The food is tasty so still get 2 stars else will get 1 star. I will not recommend to eat in this restaurant only if you have plenty of time
