It was a beautiful department with beautiful thoughts. But when time comes on greed of people, things can be destroyed. University is asking for higher fee, and that is not possible for anyone.

It is an excellent course design for research but teaching and research quality is not up to the mark. If you are self-motivated person and want to invest in research then go for it. But if you more keen towards getting normal job, settling down then don't opt for it. It is a time consuming career path so be aware of that but highly satisfactory at the end if you invest enough.

CCT Jaipur as it's known, is a Government Institute of Repute under University of Rajasthan( RU).It is located in the heart of Jaipur, Inside the sprawling 100 Acre campus of University of Rajasthan . It offers BTech -M Tech Dual Degrees in 4 streams . Cognitive & Neuroscience, Information technology, Nanotechnology and Biotechnology . Pros This is Indias first Govt Institute which started offering Interdisciplinary futuristic Masters in Cognitive & Neuroscience with huge job opportunities. It's designated as a Centre of Excellence and Research by Government of India with special grants Excellent Infrastructure like airconditined class rooms, labs and many high value equipments which cost many crores. Majority Faculty members are very qualified under government norms and experienced Advantage of well placed Alumni in IITs, IISc , NIMHANS & Universities in US, Germany, Japan etc. CCT also have tie ups with many universities like RMIT Australia etc. Cons Since it's not autonomous few RU faculty / directors on deputation doesn't show much commitment A lot issues pops up students for Mistakes in Marklist, Timely information and follow up with RU etc. Lack of Academic calendar publication at beginning of year. . Non coordination / guarantee from CCT director for ensuring hostel for CCT students in RU hotels in same RU campus. Lack of placement officer in general most issues are due to lack of Good governance and lack of good management by the directors / director in charge. A Sincere Parent
