Great campground, reasonably priced & beautiful at sunrise. Also if you're driving through the area, good place to stop. It's a whole experience for only 5 bucks. Unfortunately, we didn't get to meet Judy when we went, but she was very helpful on the phone! On a scale of 1 to Out-of-this-World, it was an 11!

You can feel the energy vibrating from this place! Probably one of the coolest things I have seen in my day and the staff is amazing!

Visited this gem of a site in October and cannot wait to return! The ranch is just outside (north) of Hooper, and faces the Great Sand Dunes National Park. And lemme tell ya - it's quite the view. Judy and Stan - the owners and hosts - were lovely to speak with about the history of their home and shop, and experiences with guests and 'others'. AND THEY HAVE A CAMPSITE! This is why we're excited to return. I can only begin to imagine how dark it gets out there. And the stories we heard are fascinating. Anyways, super happy we stopped by!! Picked up a souvenir and many pics. I highly recommend making a pit-stop here (give yourself, at the least, half an hour) to peruse the most awesome 'garden' I've ever seen & catch some stunning views of the surrounding openness. Be sure to drive in slowly; its a gravel road but also, someone's driveway. It'll be appreciated.

I’ve wanted to visit here for years and we finally made it down. I spent some time talking with Judy and walking around. Judy is really nice and was great to talk to. The views are amazing. You can see mountains in every direction. Next time I come back down I’m planning on camping. I would definitely recommend stopping here and keeping your eyes on the sky.

Loved this place! The owner was there and she was sweet as pie. She gave my kids some alien toys and even though we came minutes before they closed she didn’t rush us out. I purchased a signed copy of her book and a few chapter in and I love it too. Leave something in the garden
