EXTREMELY RUDE! My brother has been a patient of this facility for over a year and he has been treated very poorly. Since the pandemic things have gotten worse! NO ONE can help you over the phone. My mother(legal guardian) and I have been screamed at and hung up MULTIPLE times. When we complain, they retaliate by treating my brother even worse. A few weeks ago my brother said they were over medicating him so we asked to speak to his doctor. The nurse said that was not possible. We asked for a list of medications and a nurse said she would send it through email but before taking down the information she hung up. I tried calling again 4 times and the nurse wasn’t available anymore (what a surprise). Today my mother called to complain because my brother is being forced to sign papers even though she is his legal guardian. She spoke to a person named ANA who was extremely rude to her. Ana forced my brother to give her his correspondence which happened to be his stimulus check. My mother told Ana to stop forcing my brother to sign papers and that she’d like to see his correspondence from now on and she hung up. I am amazed of how these people get away with mistreating patients. I don’t know how they have gotten away with so many things. If anyone can recommend a nursing home I’d really appreciate it.

I AM A CNA AND I APPLIED AT CENTRAL NURSING. THEY HAD ME TO TAKE A COVID TEST BEFORE WORKING,SO I DID. IN THE MEANTIME WAITING ON THE TEST TO COME BACK , I APPLIED FOR A AGENCY THAT W ORKS WITH THE NURSING HOME. SO I HAD TO WAIT A WHOLE WEEK FOR THE TEST TO COME BACK AND WHEN IT DID SHE TELLS ME I HAD TO TAKE ANOTHER WHICHBWOULD MAKE ME WAIT ANOTHER WEEK. SO I DECIDED TO WORK WITH THE AGENCY THAT STAFFS THEM BECAUSE FOR ONE THEY PAY MUCH BETTER.DUE TO THE FACT THAT I DIDNT START TO WORK PERMANENTLY WITH THEM, WHICH I DIDNT HAVE TO I DIDNT FILL OUT ANY PAPERWORK THE DON DISCRIMINATED AGAINST ME SHE TOLD THE AGENCY SHE DID NOT WANT ME WORKING THERE. WHY BECAUSE I DIDNT COME ON BOARD WITH THEM PERMANENTLY. THAT IS NOT RIGHT AND I AM FILING A LAWSUIT AGAINST THEM BECAUSE YOU CAN NOT DENY A PERSON EMPLOYMENT WITH A AGENCY BECAUSE I DID NOT PERMANENTLY WORK FOR YOU. SO ANYONE WORKING THERE GET READY FOR A RIDE BECAUSE THIS IS NOT RIGHT IT IS SUPPOSE TO BE ANOUT THE HELP FOR THE RESIDENTS NOT YOUR FEELINGS. THEY WOULD NOT HAVE TO USE AGENCY IF PEOPLE WANTED TO WORK THERE. AND TO DISCRIMINATE AGAINST SOMEONE BECAUSE THEY ARE WORKING MAKING A FEW MORE DOLLARS IS NOT RIGHT. YOU WILL BE HEARING FROM THE LAWYER ABOUT THIS.

My brother lived at CNH for almost 3 years while battling cancer. During this time, it was the kindness & compassion of the staff that made the difference. The nurses showed genuine care and concern. Wilma was always pleasant and accommodating. The aides that tended to his needs, actually took an interest in his well being and his mood. They were encouraging and uplifting. Even the janitor, despite his responsibilities, was helpful and considerate. I will always be thankful to the staff at Central Nursing Home.

It's not clean. Furniture in the room is old and some of it is broken. Cant open the window because there is a hole in the screen. The closet doors are in disrepair. The curtins are wrinkled and unkempt. It smells horrible. It's extremely sad

First of all I came to this facility for therapy and let me tell you they do miracles. The therapy department staff are very nice and friendly as well the therapy itself, they work with you as much needed . I came to them unavailable to walk due to my medical condition but now I can run. The therapy dept. is #1 . The nurses and the staff are very nice and willing to assist you in anyway. You have to follow the facility rules but definitely you will get privileges and much more. The food is great , especially their chicken / soup of the day, you get all the meals that are required. You have a lot of places in walking distance, McDonalds, Tony's, Subway, Chinese and Mexican. This Nursing home is a good start to get back at your feet and move on to the community. Bring your family who needs the 24/7 care and therapy.
