I am editting my review belowthat was 5 stars. The last 2 weeks doing my weekly shopping, I leave disappointed at the service, the pharmacy counter was the worst,4 staff all trying to run away and not assist me,why even have this section?? Every time I get to the till,the price on the cheese is double then what it is on the display, or there is no price on the item. Not sure if there is new management, but I don't think this Checkers will see me again I am generally not a fan of Checkers, except this one!!, they have products and deals the others don't,and it's clean and pleasant to shop in. Meat is good, amazing breads! and good selection of cheeses. From the security at the entrance to the cashier's, bakery staff, every one, I always receive great service.

I called in to check your trading hours for Good Friday. The rude, unfriendly personnel that answered, I want to tell you, your attitude is so negative and unkind! It’s because of negative, rude and unkind people / staff like you that Checkers Grey Owl is fast getting a bad reputation in the community. Your shop has always has the most unfriendliest staff ever! Be sure that I will speak to the managers and I will ensure that we are treated in a kinder manner! I sympathize with the essential workers but your attitude makes it so difficult to be compassionate towards you! STEP IT UP MANAGEMENT!!!

Checkers Midstream is a nice place to pop in and out for a quick buy. It is a clean and neat store. I found that there was not as much staff as I expteced the last time and getting someone to assist took a while. Free parking outside.
