I had such an amazing birth experience at Unitas. Despite me unfortunately having to go for a C-section, the staff made it as close as possible to a mother-baby friendly experience for me. From preparing for surgery and being in theatre to helping with my newborn. I was able to do skin-to-skin, rooming in, exclusive breastfeeding. The nursing care was exceptional where they looked after my every need and reduced my anxiety. Thank you so much.

Had an emergency. 1stly Parking security showed me right into hospital entrance. Lady doing screening by door rushed my spouse into emergency and then let me do the screening. Emergency assured me that spouse was being looked at by Dr and I then did admission. That also handled professional and to the point.

I'm writing this traumatize by lack of professionalism in the nurses at ward 1C pead ward. What a disappointment the hospital has become. I'm only here because my son doctor is the best Dr De Gama. Nurses are so unprofessional, they come to a patient room and gossip about their bosses and other patient. They clearly demonstrate that they don't care about the patients and they just want their shift money. One of them even said to me she wishes this was at a public hospital so that she can go insult a patient. The scariest was that some nurses assigned to help my son didn't even know how to operate the drip machine and they will press the machine without knowing what they are doing until I lost it and told them to stop and get someone who knows what to do to replace a finished drip. 2 of the nurse.. First one told me oh by the way I'm new and I don't know this things. the second one told me straight on my face that it's her first time working with babies and she hates it... My heart just sank... She asked me to show her how other nurses operate the drip. I almost called the doctor in the middle of the night..... the list of horrible things that happens in the hands of the nurses is endless... I'M WONDERING WHERE IS UNITAS GETTING THESE NURSES? ARE THEY CHEAP LABOR? This hospital is almost on government hospital standards

Wow R 1870 for a palm wound that needed 3 stitches. They sent a specialized private doctor(without telling me) and marked it as a wrist wound which requires such a doctor. Money does not grow on a tree in my back yard a nurse could have done the exact same job. this hospital is a hilarious joke

I only had the best of the best. From reception right through to Ward 2B. There was so much love and caring. That I cried when I left. I didn't want to go home. The staff and doctors showed their love and care towards their patients. I haven't received so much love and attention. En many many years. All I can say thank you Netcare Unitas. I love you guys.keep it up.

I was recently admitted at Unitas due to Covid-19. The staff was very professional and I received the best treatment. The pharmacy process (waiting period for medicine after being discharged) needs to be improved a little bit.

Nature’s Nursery

At first I had a bad experience but after putting in a complaint, it was dealt with the very next day in a very professional manner. the nurse even came to apologize to me. I am very impressed with the way the complaint was handled. I take back what I have said in the past really glad to see customer service being delivered

Disgraced at the service this evening from this hospital. A toddler that needed emergency treatment could not be attended to due to no pediatrician on duty this evening nor a doctor that could attend to this case. As a well known, reputed hospital, one would think there would be some sort of order, unfortunately this was not the case. Highly disappointed.
