Through our specialised structures, we equip student employees to embrace the future through accredited education while setting up small businesses that could sustain our student employees in the longer term. Founded in Centurion, South Africa, Specialised Resource Management is currently operational in 8 of the 9 provinces. The organisation and its partners provide experiential business, entrepreneurial and life skills to young people aged between 18 and 28 years in both rural and urban environments. Specialised Resource Management has earned a reputation for changing the destiny of people who never had the opportunity to work, let alone plan their own future. We utilise resources effectively to achieve a far-reaching impact on the lives of the youth of South Africa. The founders having worked in the financial and auditing sector environment realised the need for a programme that will fill the gap in the job market and impact on the lives of many South African youth who remain unemployed. We are aligned to the government initiatives to, in collaboration with private partners offer SETA accredited skills courses through accredited training providers. The focus is on entrepreneurship and business administration with some life skills and personal development. The goal for Spesres is to equip youth with the opportunity to grow themselves and a business. It is also to make the unemployed job ready. The courses run for a duration of 12 months. Qualified facilitators are used to present the courses in a blended learning format unique to Spesres. Students are given the opportunity to use skills in practical environment through selling and marketing of products.
