The Monastery is quite big, they provide ample parking spaces for a 5 lei fee. Scenery is also very nice, and right across the lake is a cemetery where a lot of historic personalities are buried. The small church in the center of the cemetery also has a charm of its own.

One of the most important monastery in Bucharest area, Manastirea Cernica is a place to go when your soul is in need. Big enough to host a nice cathedral, a museum, an old cemetery and a big park, Cernica is a destination for religious pilgrimage. With two churches, the believers and also the non believers may find something important, something old and perennial to receive and to accept in their life.
