Purchased a Camry 2.0 engine for my Son's car from Nippon Motors. They made sure that the engine was CA smog ready by replacing the cylinder head. Followed the directions on their website by replacing the seals, gaskets, timing belt, water pump and hoses. Topped it off with Castro 10–30 and a bottle of Lucas oil treatment. Mechanic did a great job. Engine runs very smooth and plenty of power. Well worth the 200 mile drive. I would buy another engine from these folks.

Bus stop for Norwalk #3 bus, heading away from the 91. Would be nicer if there was a bench or something.

these guys must buy blown motors and patch them up and pray that they last for just 6 months until the warranty is up. In a 9 month period, I went through 2 motors that were bad, and they were not willing to help. why would I purchase a 3rd motor with no warranty after you patch your motors to last a little while. MARIO, who answers the phones, Is a RUDE and doesn't call you back. LEE, the manager, just doesn't care! I sure hope you read this review before buying these cheaply repaired motors. YOU WILL BE SORRY!!!

Terrible experience. I purchased what was supposed to be a low mile Japan take-out for 1050 I paid a shop 400 to install it, and when the got it in and started the new motor had a rod knock. Nippon sent a guy who verified it, and says he will send another motor but I am SOL on the cost to install ANOTHER motor, that could potentially be bad as well as he will not guarantee it. don't do business with these thieves. My mechanic says the motor they sent me has well over 100k miles on it, they should have known it had a knock when they tested it. NIppon says they do not test these motors and no guarantees that what they send you is even worth installing. stay away, in the end it would have been just as cheap to have a reputable shop rebuild the motor I had.

Be careful with this company. We purchased a 2az-fe engine from here. It was a long block that was rebuilt. We installed it and within the 1st 500 miles we were losing oil. They had us take it into one of their shops who apparently corrected the issue and apparently addressed the head bolt issues. This week we attempted to address the issue on our own. But before I discuss that let me tell you how crappy work nippon and their associate did. We installed the engine ourself originally then gave it back to then to address the oil leaking issue through the head gasket area. And this time we found many bolts missing and incorrectly torqued. Now when we go to the head bolts these douchbags various bolts when all ten head bolts should have been the exact same. All the head bolts were different sizes. Some were cut. I have done my research and found that the 2azfe engines have a common head bolts issue but these company took it to a different level. Crappy rebuilt engines is all that they have to offer. If nippon wants to contact me, please do. I have proof of the crap work you guys did.

These guys arent even japanese and they call themselves Nippon Motors to make themselves seem legitimate. I took one look at a motor they sold to my buddy and it's absolute junk.
