I had good times in this school at 2016. In that time the school called \Global Village\. My teacher Gerry was wonderful, and my teacher Winnie too.

Great place to sit the IELTS exams. The staff are very friendly, which can help to calm anyone that might be nervous. Email correspondence was very useful and provided good information as well as timely reminders. Alex in particular was great in helping to reschedule a test for me. Would highly recommend this test centre.

Lots of parking spots available on an hourly rate of 2(it was a weekend). Receptionist was friendly and helpful. The restroom, which was mandatory to use for all applicants, as they were asking everyone to wash their hands on entering, was worse than a Gas station restroom. Very dirty, No paper toilet. My speaking exam was scheduled on 12:15 according to the confirmation email but the receptionist told me I was scheduled for 13:10 on his list. Anyway, I was sent in at 12:45 for speaking. The exam was scheduled at 14:00, mentioned on IDP and CES website as well as the confirmation email. They started the exam on 13:30 though! Remember this is IDP and one expects everything to be done as scheduled. Midway thru the reading session, I had to use the restroom but no staff was present in the examination room! It was only us, the test takers. I waited for 2 minutes. Since no one showed up and I had to use the restroom so badly I got up to find someone to help me. As I was leaving the room, a staff member entered and almost shouted at me “go back to your seat”. I told her I had to leave my chair as no staff was present. She started to argue this with me in the same semi-shouting tone which was definitely distracting to other applicants. I mean you would expect staff to deescalate things in such situations, especially when it’s their absence that causes the problem yet she was trying to convince me that she left the room only for one minute. Well, as IELTS takers know, it’s the applicant who’s under pressure and counts the seconds as the time runs. Do not get me wrong, I scored 8.5, but thought it’s worthwhile to share my experience.

All the staffs in this English centre are very friendly and professional. Their manager on site, Mr. Chau was very kind to guide me through some technical issues I have with the IELTS exam.
