We have purchased firearms from several local shops over the years and always have been drawn back here. Over the past few months we have been back several times and each time they have topped the experience we had prior. Typically we work with Rick and can’t express enough how he definitely goes above and beyond with everything. We have also worked with Jason who had great suggestions and helped with the process of applying for and purchasing a suppressor . All the staff gives you a welcome feeling from the minute you walk and definitely care about more then just selling things. Even with the demand for firearms and accessories being so high and almost impossible to find, Target World has a great selection and makes things hassle free. You definitely don’t get that uncomfortable and unwanted feeling like other local shops give. They may not have the largest facility or the largest selection but in this case larger is not better. Without a doubt the best in the area.

I have been to Target World Inc. twice and have been generally impressed by the knowledge and professionalism of their staff as well as their facilities and the products/services offered. I worked with Tom in sales and he was friendly, helpful, and a good listener. Tom worked with me to identify a product that met my needs and fell within my budget. He stayed with me throughout my visit from beginning to end and answered all my questions to my complete satisfaction. He was a great salesman and I enjoyed working with him. I also visited Target World Inc.’s range, where I had a 1-hour training session with Dan. I was able to explain exactly what I hoped to get out of the training hour, and Dan worked to give me exactly the experience I hoped for. He was open to questions, provided positive and constructive feedback, demonstrated patience, and helped me when I had questions or ran into an issue. The range facilities were clean, bright, and well-maintained. The only reason they have 4 starts instead of 5 is because of the Trump/Pence sign over the counter at the range. I understand that most of the people frequenting an establishment like Target World Inc. in this area are likely to be Trump/Pence supporters, and the owners have a right to express their political affiliations and opinions in their establishment. That said, the 2nd Amendment protects all citizens regardless of political beliefs or party affiliation and Target World Inc. aims to serve people exercising their 2nd Amendment rights. That sign is alienating to those of us who don’t fall within the typical clientele’s political spectrum, and alienating a segment of your customers — however small — just isn’t a great business practice.

I have been to Target world a half dozen times or so over the past few years. While I have NOT experienced some of the interactions and situations I have read in this forum, I have noticed peoples responses to similar situations while I was there. There have been times when the staff seems to be arrogant, and maybe and even argumentative - but when I witnessed this, there was an equal amount of \superiority\ coming from the customer. Safety is of the utmost importance in any business dealing with Firearms, and while you might know your qualifications and experience - the men who work there need to feel safe in allowing you to handle a weapon at their facility....so while it might seem invasive and arbitrary, understanding both sides might help. That said - I see a continued \Theme\ that there is a perceived customer service issue - and it has been running for a while now...and like it or not - you know what \They\ say - Perception is reality! Yes - the staff needs to be polite and attentive, yes they need to be held accountable when appointments are made and not kept, and yes customers should not be made to feel ignorant (perceived or not)....and I would hope that the owner can also see it - and has addressed these issues so that we will see less of them in the future. If not...well, they will continue to receive bad ratings and we can take it from there! As a Facility, this place is 5 stars! As a Store, and inventory - again 5 Stars! (Give credit where it is due!) Prices on the range and rentals are fare and very competitive. The place is always clean and well lit. Prices are always up for debate on weapons, and if they hold the line - well, it is a business. In closing - what I would recommend is that you go to Target World with a open mind, and check your ego at the door....if you try to understand that in this environment \SAFETY FIRST\ is more than just a saying - you might understand a little better why things are happening.... just a suggestion!

Best range in the area, great to place to shoot or work. Take safety and professionalism very seriously. Have a well renovated range with much more modern equipment than competitors at fair prices.

Went with my 2 boys for introductory class. Was very informative and well structured. Class is an hour, and we stayed for an hour on the range, we were able to shoot with 2 different types of guns, under the direct supervision of our instructor Chris OBrien.
