Clean, well maintained, and very Informative staff. If I had missed visit to this place, I could have definitely missed the statue of dignity. Thanks for the information. South Dakota and people of South Dakota are so beautiful

Five stars for the content. A wide variety of South Dakotans awarded including writers, artists, politicians, farmers, ranchers, health care workers, lawyers, law enforcers and educators at all levels. It's inspiring to read the individual profiles. Some we knew; some we didn't. Interesting exhibits, such as on health and the Dignity statue nearby. One star for utter lack of compliance with CDC safety covid-19 recommendations despite the emphasis on health and education and the fact that the state ranks second in the number of new cases per capita over the past two weeks. Other museums visited in the state were great on this score, for example the nearby Indian museum, as were most restaurants and motels. It seems it would be easy for the management to remedy this lack of regard and respect for their visitors.

This is a wonderful facility! Immaculate inside and out. We stopped here to let our little one run off some energy on a trip to/from the Black Hills. Plenty of safe, grassy space and a marvelous tribute to South Dakota veterans.

We came across this place while we were searching for gas station. Nice views out side the building and cool plane model to look at. Didn’t go inside as it was closed.
