Good doctor, but the staff/management needs serious improvement. My experience with the actual doctor was positive, however, the office environment was disorganized from the beginning. First, they cancelled an appointment on me, they explained and it was for a good reason. We rescheduled, I asked if they would send me a reminder of some kind, and I was assured that was part of the process. It was a little thing, but it helps, and no reminder was sent. Second, the place was loaded to the brim with student staff. I saw the doctor and two student doctors for my visit. The office staff had trainees shadowing them too. The back office was packed and felt chaotic as a result. Third, part of my prescription wasn't sent. When I called with questions, the office staff was curt and had a rude, condescending tone. Only after pleading my case did she agree to look into the situation. Fourth, I scheduled a second visit, then rescheduled it. They just booked me for both days and then called to remind me the day before my cancelled my appointment about how to prepare. With so many mix-ups and with so many very simple things, it was clear that I cannot trust this facility with something as important as my health. Who knows how many other countless errors they would make going forward.

Dr. Aalok Sahai is one of the best surgeons I have ever I have ever been treated by. He is confident and firm, but also extremely compassionate and he truly cares about his patients. I highly recommend Dr. Sahai. I could never thank him enough for making me feel better after searching for solutions for almost three years. Thank you, Dr. Sahai!

I couldn't be happier with Dr. A. Sahai and his wonderful staff. They were patient and professional and went out their way to make sure everything stayed on track for my colon resection surgery. They guided me through pre and post operation prep and the operation itself was a huge success. I had lots of scar tissue and inflamation in my colon. It was caused by a very seriously infected abscess in my colon back in January. I was supposed to undergo resection surgery in March, but counld't due to Covid caused surgery restrictions. By July I was in very serious condition and the Covid problem was at at it's worst in Phoenix. Hospitals were all full, but Dr. Sahai managed to get me scheduled for my operation ANYWAY. By then my colon was a MESS. In spite of this, Dr. Sahai was able to perform a successful resection surgery on me. My life was saved by his skill and experience. After the surgery he visited me daily at the hospital, and was also on call via phone for my nurses 24/7, which gave me great comfort. It's been 4 weeks since my surgery and I am a new person. I have no pain, no complications and I'm getting stronger every day. I'll forever be thankful to you Dr. A. Sahai. Thank you!!!
I went to Dr. Sahai without any recommendation and he was very friendly and easy to talk with about what I consider a sensitive subject. The office staff was great as well. The examination was fast and thorough and he gave me a few options for treatment as well what he would do in the same situation which I greatly appreciated. I would recommend him to anyone seeking helpful in his specialty.
