This is an epic theater, I love the incredible 3d experience and the documentaries that are super interesting but very descriptive and informative. Please go here if you get the chance.

We enjoy watching Star Wars Movies in this IMAX theater especially during evening time after 4pm due to free parking. You can book tickets online with a service fee. However, the theater does not offer reserved seats therefore we always try to be early to get best seats particularly for popular movies. The theater offers limited snack selection. Any show before 4 pm need to 15 for parking. The 3D glasses provided by the theater are of high quality and had a amazing experience watching from middle seats from the top third row.
Came here to see John Wick 3. The screen and sound are superb!! Was so glad I found this place. Its nestled inside a museum so keep that in mind. Only reason not 5 stars is the seating. Chairs basically have no cushion and get rather uncomfortable after one hour of sitting.
Well maintained IMAX theater right inside the air and space museum. Awesome sound effects on the Apollo 11 movie playing. This theater has the best of both worlds from specially made IMAX movies for Air and Space fans as well as commercial Hollywood (and sometimes Bollywood) movies as well. The popcorn was fresh and the staff courteous. Remember to invest in a 12 annual Air and Space Smithsonian membership to get discounts on your tickets. The only reason I don't give a 5* rating is because of the lack of a large screen showing the movie listings.
Excellent Theater and Air and Space museum! Been coming here for years and always enjoy the experience. Saw StarWars Rogue One and The Last Jedi Premier here. The AV and screen size is impressive! Check showtimes and get tickets in advance! Some showings fill up quickly!
This theater is a true IMAX theater. Not one of the knock offs at AMX Theaters. Thid theater show first run movies at various time. In this case Star Wars Rise of Skywalker. Great sound, projection and atmosphere. Been here a jumber of times. For blockbusters like Star Wars, the earlier you get ther the better. For the regular shows, there is no hassle and usually no wait. So, see the museum (which is amazing) but also take in a show.
Imax movie theater is good. Price is moderate. Only thing to be improved is the no of restroom accommodates. Currently it has only 4 for the imax seating capacity of 400.
Don't lose a phone there and then try to go back in to get it an hour after the show. They wont let you in and are not that prompt in getting back to you when you email and leave messages about the expensive lost item either! I am editing my comment - very nice security person Srgt Kennedy called me and they found the phone this morning and called me. Thanks very much to everyone involved and BTW - the movie and the experience in 3D was fantastic - Happy Holidays all!
