Lovely views. Castle Neroche is a great place to commune with nature. All that remains of the castle is the earthworks now. The area has been largely reclaimed by nature and has a wonderful relaxing feel. There are no utilities here or disabled access for people with low mobility so is you use mobility aids consider Staple Hill instead. The beauty of this place makes it worth a visit although prepare for mud when it's been raining.

Great walk, plenty of free parking, a bit muddy when it's been raining and a few steep hills! Not suitable for buggies though.
What a place full of bygone history. Great walks, lovely woodlands long views. Lovely churches with pink doors.
Lovely walk, highly reccomend! Bit slippy and wet in places so walking boots are a must. Free Forestry Commission Car Park.
Nice collection of footpaths centering around the earth works of the former Castle Neroche. With views over Somerset toward Glastonbury and Taunton/Bridgwater. Good for a short walk or a longer trek with links to other areas in the Blackdowns such as Staple Hill.
