Popped in today to buy some new foundation and a couple of other bits. My No7 purchase at Boots was far too light for me although I was colour matched? I could have returned to Boots but I am not one to waste time. Being in my late 50's and not a massive make-up wearer I needed help. Bearing in mind it was quite late in the day I felt I might be pushing my luck asking for one to one assistance. I had spent a good 15 minutes trying to make my own selection, but I did feel a bit overwhelmed so I asked a young lady on the cash desk if anyone was about to help with make -up. Without hesitation she called up a colleague who appeared immediately. The lady listened to me, then offered lots of friendly advice and recommended a suitable product. The lady was wearing a Manager badge so I am very happy she has staff and a store to look after. Her service was quite excellent and I could have been 16 or 60 . As I am nearly the later it is refreshing to leave a store looking forward to trying a new product as the assistant was so professional.
