My great grandmother was born in 1864. The one original photo of her in her early 20's has been in the original frame all these years, but obviously it was now very delicate. It was not mine but I was able to have it long enough to get it restored by Charles. It turned out so beautiful and the original was not harmed one bit! I can't comment on the value as I did no price comparisons. I was more interested in the original not being harmed and the quality of the product.
