Just the friendliest people. The newly opened Charledton Tavern along the road is great for a beer and pub grub.

Usual price for tent camping at campsite. Employee was friendly and loaned us a pan. Shower was hot. Short walk to impressive, bouldered beach. Good sand and swimming area. Sand flies are killer though.

Basic little camp for budget traveller (20 each for powered site) Had a very peaceful nights sleep. Friendly staff, no dump station or water tap so had to get fresh water in 1 litre bottle in kitchen. No outdoor cooking facilities, but there was recycling and rubbish bins. Good cooking facilities with plenty of pots, pans, utensils and a range of hobs, ovens, microwaves and even a halogen oven. However the kitchen is locked between 9pm-7am. The bathrooms/showers are also locked and there’s no hot water between 10am-2pm which we’ve never come across before. Although the toilet block is available 24/7. Usual laundry facilities available (4 wash 4 dryer) No wifi at all. Close to Underground World for caving and rafting adventures and there’s a pub/restaurant next door as well but no other shops nearby so stock up in Westport before arriving. Also close to beaches and coves.

Stayed here for 3 nights Feb 2020, had a wonderful stay in the campground. Lovely family run campsite/motor camp, all the amenities you need, clean and tidy. Walking distance from the sea cliffs for some epic climbing and a short drive to Nine Mile Beach for surfing. Our friends joined us for the final night and were able to bring their dog too. Would definitely stay here again.
