Clean cut at its best. Given the shenanigans going on at most college campuses today, it was nice to see respect and professionalism on display everywhere. No ragged and torn clothing, no Rand McNally maps running up and down arms (tattoos) no steel dangling from noses, no pants hanging half off butts, one could feel pride in America and hope for the future when touring this vast and beautiful campus. A quick tour showed this to be a non-nonsense, education first, institution. Having been in the military, it did not take me long to figure out that the \fast walkers\ were freshmen. They stuck to their designated walkways, off the sidewalks for the most part, walking at a fast clip with a pronounced gait, and making sharp right turns at the corners. We would go back in a heartbeat and you should too when you start to lose faith in America. Different uniforms but it reminded me a lot of Annapolis. God bless the USA.
The campus is beautiful. A great scene for tourists. The bulldog Memorial was AMAZING!!!!
Absolutely beautiful campus! And so many well mannered individuals, gives me hope. A visit to The Citadel is highly recommended!
I visit Charleston on a regular basis. And I stop at the Citadel to walk my dogs. The students there are always so happy to see my golden retrievers. Very nice grounds very nice people
