I was in an accident with someone who was insured by the Hartford. My rental was paid by the hartford and my damages were repaired. The hartford was very professional and I am appreciative!

WORST EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD with an insurance company. I'm usually such a fan of insurance providers not I'm not a fan of Hartford. General lack of concern, poor communication, and delaying my medical care are my biggest complaints. It's now been 49 days and my agent, Regina Sorrell-Newton, still has not connected me with a neurologist. Seems that she's holding my progress in care as her hostage. She shows zero concern for my care and does not communicate unless interrogated over the phone, if I can actually reach her after incessant calling and emailing that is. I'M SO DISAPPOINTED. This is my attempt to circumvent her and hopefully get the care I need. If someone who can help reads this, and is able to rectify the situation, I will consider updating this review...

Nancy Hanzel was my analyst. To make a long story short i had to get my dr records, pharmacy records and surgery records myself. After speaking with numerous people my claim was approved by another analyst after my analyst was still asking for info that they already had. So my HR dept sent my direct deposit info to the Hartford. I have no problems with my direct deposit from work. Well a month and 5 days later I found out the Hartford noticed the account number was longer than most numbers(like what does that have to do with it...some companies have long account numbers.) The did not contact my HR to verify the account. I saw my claim was approved and the last 4 numbers of the account number looked correct but what they was showing in the system was not showing correct. (Don't ask me....) I notified them the next day after seeing my claim was filed and after speaking with a rep. we confirmed the acct number they have in the system is not correct. I know i also submitted the account number and it was correct. Believe it or not they only have 1 person in this whole company that can update the EFT info and he just so happen to be out of the office will be back on Christmas Eve. I don't know why and how they are still in business. i wish my job would find another disability company.

Claim was placed with the wrong analyst.Form was for long term benefits and they placed my file in short term file and also keyed in different employer when my employer sent in information. Also my application had my employer on it.So after 2 months they finally got my file straight but now I'm getting the run around about my benefits submitted application end of June and it's August 23rd and I still have not received benefits.Once they get to review my file tgey keep requesting information that was already submitted.I hope my employer gets a different company to handle our long term benefits
