We are an organization that benefits its members through industry connections, exposure, benefits, and volunteer opportunities. Our goals as an association are to: * Promote Skilled Trades and Technology on PEI * Recognize and promote our members * Feature our members and events on our new Alumni Webpage and Newsletter * Create a training program to train future competitors * Hold regular workshops and events with high quality tools and equipment * Attract employers to our members * Speak to youth, young adults, employers, and teachers about the importance of skilled trades and technology as well as the importance of skilled people working in this field Skills Canada PEI, the provincial branch of Skills Canada, is a registered charity created in partnership with government, industry, educational and labour institutions. Its mandate is to encourage youth to consider skills and technology-based career options, which help fuel economic growth for the province and the country while creating interesting and challenging employment opportunities for young Canadians
