The location is beautiful, the price is good and the owner is nice, but the motel room was pretty run down. The bathroom smelled like smoke and the TV was half-working. It was clean though. Note that the rooms vary a lot. I was in room #2 and it was dark and had a strange layout. Another time I stayed in a room with several windows and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Beautiful views, clean rooms, friendly staff. The owner is a grandpa, he is a nice person. He reminds me of other Chinese grandpas that I know.
Cute little place- very clean, comfortable and easy to find. Right off the highway, so traffic noise can be heard, but the A/C was sufficient to cover the noise at night. Just a couple minute drive into chase which has several parks and green spaces along with a public beach. Peter and Sue are incredibly hospitable and welcoming and breakfast was fantastic. Great value for the price.
Very nice view. Room has microwave oven, TV, coffee maker, clock, and wifi. It's clean. The bed is soft (it could be a issue if you have more than one people). The host was very kind and provided useful local info. Did not try breakfast. Had 2 bottles of water as gifts. There was no lighting in parking lot after dark. It's hard to see the entry way. You can not make left turn into motel from TC #1 if you go eastbound (there is double solid yellow lines. Motel is on the north side of TC 1)
I came to Jade Mountain motel unexpectedly after dealing with a very stressful highway ordeal. The owner showed so much kindness and compassion when I showed up still in shock, took good care of me and helped get me set up in a really nice suite. The room was very large, clean and comfortable. This place is a gem, not only for the great rooms but also for the wonderful, friendly people who run it. I would absolutely stay here again.
