I was in that store about 3 months ago and the guy that I asked to help me was rude and disrespectful maybe it was because I am not the usual high end client willing to spend thousands of dollars on my first mountain bike or maybe it was the fact I was going to work and was in my first responder uniform and once again profiled as not the usual customer. If you are looking for a bicycle go anywhere else maybe to a place that treats all their customers with equal respect and customer service

Despite being truly swamped with work, Bikeland has continually provided excellent service, timely repairs, and great communication. I'm proud to be a Colombian patron of this Colombian-owned shop. If you're purchasing a new bike maybe they're fine. I went to get an inner tube replaced and they charged me for labor, no big deal. But they didn't true the wheel when they reinstalled it. I can only attribute this to laziness or rank incompetence. If I'm being charged for labor then the job should actually be finished when I get my bike back. EDIT: It seems I misused a technical term. Truing the wheel wasn't the phrase I was looking for. These experienced technicians didn't even install the wheel remotely straight. It was rubbing against the break and fender. Really really terrible job they do here. You'll just have to go someplace else even after you've already paid these people. Don't go.
I went in for a repair to my son's bike. I was quickly given a complete assessment of the bikes needs and an estimate of cost. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I was very pleased with the results and I would certainly recommend Bikeland Chatham to all my neighbors.
What a great experience! I wanted to ride all summer with my son but could not find a bike that met my needs. I let Mike know what I was looking for and immediately he pointed out different options, found a child seat for me and a new helmet. The service felt personalized and I walked away with exactly what I was looking for. (They even asked me to bring the bike back after 30 rides so they can check on it). I will definitely come back when I’m ready to upgrade!
