We are in Chatham for a hockey tournament and called on Crabby Joe's to see if they would be able to accommodate us. We were told no problem. Went in and they sat the team all together . Our server Samantha was great. Very efficient and very friendly and sociable . The food was delicious. Would definitely return if this is the norm here .
Had the lunch hot chicken tacos, they were very good, wife had the berry salad also tastey. Service was excellent not sure of her name but friendly and easy to talk to.
The food is decent but the service is horrible. I’ve gone to this location a few times in the past 6 months and the poor quality of service has been persistent. Every time I have gone I have had to wait 15-30 minutes for the waitress/waiter to take my order, and when trying to pay the bill, had to wait 10-15 minutes. The only great service I received here was from a waitress (on my most recent visit) who served my table even though it wasn’t in her section. She realized our table was about to leave and asked if we had been served (which we hadn’t). She then promptly took our orders and took care of our table for the rest of our dinner. I will be taking another year or two break from going to this restaurant.
Unfortunately the service at this restaurant has gone downhill. Slow service. Initial order is taken promptly, however on both occasions I’ve visited this location in the past month the server did not return for extended periods of time for refills / provide the bill so we could leave.
Used to love going to eat here but our last visit has completely turned us off. Poor service, never checked on, had to get up and find my own wet wipes when ribs and wings were ordered, went almost the entire meal without a drink... and on top of that the amount of dust was making my allergies go crazy.
You know, it's been a few years since I visited Crabby's. They still maintain their high standards of food quality and the service was fantastic. Samantha and Julie helped me relax and brought a smile to my face after busy day ... and they still have complimentary peanuts! I shouldn't have stayed away so long. I'll be back.
Great burgers and beer or non alcoholic drinks. Lots of TV screens on the bar side to view your favorite sports. Very seldom do you have to wait to be seated.
