Plenty of space around campsites, beautiful sunsets on Caney lake. Lots of downed trees for firewood. Met some really cool people who's young son was playing guitar and singing.

Absolutely love this park. We will be back. Hurricane Laura did some tree damage but they are getting it cleaned up fast. Came on weekdays very quiet and peaceful.

We have camped at Jimmy Davis State Park 3 or 4 times and every time we have had a very enjoyable time. The bath houses are always kept so clean, the staff is so friendly an knowledgeable. They upkeep on the state park is very good. We just stayed this last weekend and the park still has some damage from a major tornado from 2019 an the hurricane this year, lots of trees down an some of the cabins closed the camping area is completely open.
