I tried this spot already with my friend and I am addicted ever since. I love the excellent vibes and tasty dishes and drinks. Great work.

This place is awesome
Fantastic store! Extremely friendly and knowledgeable staff that can give great recommendations on wine and craft beer and good prices. During the Covid crisis it's one of the best set up stores I've seen. Proper social distancing guidance, clean surfaces, and the staff provides a safe and secure environment for customers in these difficult times. Curbside service was fantastic and quick. After visiting the other local liquor stores I have decided to make Shop Ahoy my go to place for my wine this summer on Cape.
I have been coming here for years and my parents have been coming here for years as well. Their prices are high to begin with but it’s the cape so that’s to be expected, it’s a convenient location so I have no problem paying for convenience. Prior to this year I have never had any issues. However, this year on my first visit I entered the cooler labeled “self serve cooler” to see if they had a 12 pack of my beverage of choice. After walking out of the cooler and up to the cashier I was given attitude about what I was looking for in the cooler to the extent that I didn’t make further purchases that I intended to. Decided to give them another try a few days later and upon check out (purchasing a 6 pack) I was told that the cashier needed to see my passengers ID as well. The passenger, my girlfriend, was out sitting in my truck. Totally outrageous. We’re both 25, however even if my passenger was underage, I’m still legally allowed to purchase alcohol. Furthermore, this store should then be asking for the ID of every child any adult has in the vehicle as well. If you look a day under 65 don’t waste your time and go anywhere else if you’re looking for a quick run to the store.
Horrible experience! The cashier was extremely rude and changing the order I had on the counter without explanation or letting me talk. She then proceeded to yell at the nice, HELPFUL coworker next to her when he was trying to help us. If you aren't about kind people and being treated with respect then this is the place to go but if you want to feel good about your experience while walking out the door along with seeing other employees being treated in a nice manner, then go anywhere else in Chatham.
