Having a hardware store right around the corner that isn't a big-box fiasco is really one of my most favorite things in the world. Brings me back to having Channel Lumber in Madison. If you are nodding now - you're old! I've been there 4 times in a day. The team is friendly, and for a small store they really do have a great assortment. The screw, nuts and bolts aisle is my second home. Yes, you'll pay a bit more and there are some limitations in selection - but I'd probably cry if Ace went away.

Go to home depot or lowes and waste your time and energy. Come here and you get a staff that is full of knowledge, attentive and offers great suggestions for any and all work around the house. Best find in the area. These guys really know their stuff. Studs. Pun intended...;0)
