I absolutely LOVE mom and pop / greasy spoon type diners/joints. This was a great experience - and not my first visit here. It won't be my last, either. I was given a hearty southern welcome when I walked in and pleasantly greeted when the waitress came to help me out. She promptly took my order and it arrived fairly soon. Everything was hot and tasted great. I went for breakfast, and have been there for breakfast before, so I can't speak to the lunch items. But they're probably yummy too. I'm totally going back. :)
In town for a conference and found this hole in the wall place near the hotel. Great choice. Staff were exceedingly friendly, food was great and price very reasonable. It looks and feels like an old 70’s era coffee shop or diner with long counters and orange and brown paint. It is perfect. No frills or pretense just good food and good service. Will be eating breakfast here every day I am in town.

Classic diner food. Taste great but don’t count the calories. I love this place for breakfast but lunch is good also.
