I cannot praise Cheat Lake Animal Hospital enough. My fur baby was getting so ill and had to be put down. They were able to get me in quickly. They showed sincere compassion and empathy. They have a very professional and kind staff that truly care for animals. We were able to get a clay paw print keepsake and a donation in Pixie's name. I highly recommend this facility for any pet emergency needs. Thank you to the staff and doctor for your kindness.

I would recommend Cheat Lake Animal Hospital. Their number one asset is, of course, the fact they are open 24/7. I brought my almost 18 year old dog in there several times in the last year to manage his arthritis. Unfortunately, it became clear to me that it was his time and I made the hard decision to put him to sleep yesterday. Office staff were incredibly compassionate and it meant a lot to me. I will say, despite calling twice before arriving, I had to wait over an hour in my car for them to see him. It was not ideal, as he was in quite a bit of pain. This was around 3:00pm. I realize there were other emergencies likely happening, I just wish my little guy was more of a priority. I recommend going late at night/early in the morning if you would like to be seen ASAP.

I would recommend anyone to this hospital. We recently had to take our beloved dog to have surgery for her eye to be removed. Within minutes of arriving, the staff took her in, administered pain meds for her and immediately called with an update of what they would be doing. During this very emotional and stressful time, the staff and Dr's were so compassionate and caring. During my talks with the Dr. i was never rushed and all of my questions were addressed. Their prices were so much more reasonable and affordable, especially for something that is not expected financially. They have proven to us that they are truly concerned about the health and well-being of animals and not about the money. We would definitely go there again for any emergency services.

Took my dog here for an emergency visit on Sunday, the staff, technicians and Dr.s were great, took great care of my dog, everyone was friendly and professional. They explained everything to me during the whole process as this was our first time there. When everything was taken care of they explained each of the medications to me. I highly recommend everyone at Cheat Lake Animal Hospital.
