The LEAD is an Entrepreneurship, Technology and Innovation Center in Chekka, serving the North of Lebanon. The project, a collaboration between the University of Balamand, Next Gen Enterprise and Tamer Holdings, has two key objectives: 1. To serve as an accelerator, hosting companies and experts, offering consultancy services and building a community to support the region’s entrepreneurs. 2. To become a shared co-working ‘makers’ space where users can access the latest in information technology, design, innovation and technology to bring their ideas to live, while participating in a community that can get around for coffee and contribute to each other’s success Our model is based on strong ties and collaboration with universities, trade associations, existing enterprises, other groups that support entrepreneurs, like venture capital firms or Endeavor, and the entrepreneurs themselves.
