Mr. William Boutros and his family established WilCoPM in 1992. It is a sister company to WilCo a real estate company and William Boutros Farms a secular agricultural enterprise founded in 1958. WilCoPM is ISO 9001:2008, HACCP and FSA (Yum! KFC) certified and is firmly working towards other industry specific international standards in commitment with its quality policy of continuous improvement. The company is a leading Lebanese poultry integrator with a production of 11 million birds per year. The company is rapidly expanding and constantly implementing new projects. The group is socially responsible towards its community and the environment. William Boutros Farms offers support, training and expertise to farmers in North and Mount Lebanon. The group employs 500 families. It is also socially active and sponsors festivals and development clubs mainly in its area. From the environmental side chicken manure from farms is donated as fertilizer to farmers. Wastewater resulting from slaughter house activity is separated from solids, treated and tested before irrigating 40,000 sq.m of land planted with banana, avocado, orange, walnut and pomegranate trees. Offal is covered with lime and transported to landfills on a daily basis.
