The Matt and the whole Monty’s team are just the best. They have now set up, fret dressed and looked after five of my guitars and I just quite simply wouldn’t go anywhere else now. They don’t just set up your guitars they Montyfy them and your most loved guitar will return the same guitar but just way better. Lovely guys and real craftsmen.

Great service and top quality. They installed an L R Baggs pick up in my 20 year oldTaylor 814c, changed my strings and did a set up. The guitar plays better than it ever has. Will take all my instruments here for future setups. Many thanks Montys.

I attended a Guitar Maintenance course with the guys at Monty's a couple of months back, The day was very interesting and I walked out of there with not only my guitar setup better than when I went in but with the knowledge of how to setup my other guitars on my own. This has helped on several occasions since, the neck pickup on my tele came loose and I was confident to strip it down and re-seat it. I was also confident enough to remove the Tone and Volume knobs and solder in a new Cap. Next I bought a secondhand guitar that arrived with it's bridge out of place, I was able to re-align it and set up the correct intonation thanks to what I learnt on the course. All in all it was money well spent.
