This is a high end butcher at reasonable prices. The service is excellent, and the staff are very helpful. But the most important thing is the meat. The quality and range of cuts (they have rarer ones) is exceptional, and I'd grade the actual butchery as top notch. I have experienced a great deal of \door stopper steaks\ when asking for the thicker 1inch cuts with other butchers - but Waghorne's always provides. One thing to note - whilst the website is great, do give them a call or pop in if you're looking for something not advertised or a weight that they don't sell on the site. They will be happy to help.

The service and quality of this butchers have literally won my business for life. Why would I ever eat supermarket meat again now I have tasted meat from waghornes? We came first during lockdown when they kept us happy safe and well fed but we are never leaving! Also very well priced btw.
