Good enough, clearly designed for tourists given the make up of the crowd. Quite fun though and something different to do.

Seems like a tourist trap. Very shoddy performance with actors missing marks and talking in the background constantly. Too expensive for what you get and the English portion is incredibly half assed. I’ve seen better high school productions. Better to spend time & money on the outdoor performances where you can enjoy a drink and walk around. Theater is run down and decrepit too. Ah sorry to have spent money on this.
Terrific "Szechuan Opera" performance featuring fire breathing and the legendary Szechuan "Face Changing" - it seems like the performer is able to change his face dozens of times in an instant. Performance has subtitles for English speakers and a live Chinese orchestra; and extravagant costumes and sets. Highly recommended cultural experience!
