Adequately equipped library. I loved the magazine section where one can find IEEE magazines which are full of cutting edge technology features. I used to spend a lot of time in this library while I did my post graduation at Anna University. I wish I could access this library as an alumni, if I get a chance to visit Chennai in future.

Entry is restricted only to those who wear the id card. Dress code for gents are little bit serious - shirts and pants only, no round neck T-shirts or shorts. For girls, i don't think they really care much; have seen some with round necks inside. One of my favorite places in CEG. Go here to study, read newspapers and magazine, and even sometimes to get a nap. The library has many closed reference areas which can be found in all the floors, best to concentrate and study without any external disturbances. The ground floor has a career guidance cell which is a closed reference area with all the required materials like aptitude books, GATE, CAT and information regarding different examinations and process. The computer books and related articles are at the ground floor. The first floor is mainly for the other departments, and the second floor is where all the journals are. Previous year question paper can be found at the closed reference section in ground floor. 3rd floor is called the digital knowledge center, which is set up to access digital contents of journals and various other online libraries.
