This canteen is a very economical with wide variety of items. Students prefer this canteen because it's cheap and worthy for their money. Food items are good . Payments by cash. Also a small chat shop and a juice and bakery shop is at the entrance

After GST the prices increased and the quantity decreased... When I joined the college i found the the price to be cheap but later realized that, better quality food can be bought outside for the same price. But still, its comparatively cheap and and variety of options. The lack of competition is what bring them to this price. If, there were more canteens of this size the price would have reduced, just like in IIT. Oh., And they have a big menu board on top of the cash counter, please don't waste your time reading it. Most of the items in it are not available.
Breakfast is usually very good. Value for money. Sweets, Snacks are the highlights of this canteen. Recently, Dal Poli, Casery etc. Have been added to the menu. In one line, CEG Canteen is - Value for Money.
Very good. The items are very cheap and best. You can fill your stomach by spending 30 bucks
It's our canteen. Each and every dish is very tasty. And it is not costly. They have tiffin, chat, fast food, meals ice cream, etc everything with a much affordable price.Most of our hostelers have their lunch there(because of the mess food). It's like a heaven for hostelers.
My favourite. From 2007 was in that campus. Enjoyed their tasty food.
If Low priced plus hygienic food is your need then this is the place to be.
